My Job

My job continually challenges me as I work in an increasingly popular field it is important to continue to learn. My interest never wanes as there is always something new: performing paternity tests, feather sexing birds, diagnosing animal diseases and the range of tests the company DNA Solutions provides is always expanding. The future promises more challenges and adventures.

My Degree

My degree gave me an insight into what I most enjoyed, which led me to my work. Scientifically my course covered all the aspects of my job and gave me an excellent framework of knowledge that has enabled me to perform at the highest level. Studying at the Gippsland Campus for me was crucial. As a local it allowed me to focus on my course without the distractions of moving. Small class sizes ensured continual motivation and difficulties were always sorted out quickly as everyone was so helpful. You got to know everyone really well, both fellow students and the lecturers.
