& Registered Psychologist

Bachelor of Science (Honours)
PhD in psychology

I currently lecture in Psychology and supervise students in leadership, emotions, customer service, integrity, personnel selection, and data analysis.

I have published scientific papers in a broad range of disciplines, including creativity and problem solving, attention and concentration, facial expressions, psychological disorders, risk and safety, and stress management.

As cofounder and director of Zenith Professional Development, I have been engaged in the development of a company offering a revolutionary, controversial system of management assessment and training.

My research underpins teaching and business activities.

In 1997, I embarked on a project to scrutinise and evaluate every scientific finding in the field of social psychology, human resources, management, marketing, and related fields. The objective was to extract discoveries that contradict the beliefs, intuitions, and recommendations of most employees, managers and consultants.

It was very rewarding distilling over 800 of these startling discoveries. One example is the finding that pressing your palms upwards from below a table tends to enhance creativity.

Using this information, I have been able to develop a tool that uncovers all the

traits that job applicants strive to conceal. Other assessment tools have been constructed that identify the misconceptions and shortfalls in employees and

managers that impede their performance.  Finally training, coaching, and development programs have been formulated to address these deficiencies and enhance performance as well as profit.

The extensive study I have undertaken has led me to enjoy a rewarding diversity in my work and research.
