13thAnnual RACI R & D Topics Conference – Location

Toorak College groundsToorak College is located on the Mornington Peninsula in Mt. Eliza, approximately 45 km south of the Melbourne Central Business District, and is well serviced by public transport in the form of buses and metropolitan rail.

The conference will be held in ‘Bardon House’, a unique facility which includes a state of the art “intelligent” lecture theatre with computer networked seating, and a magnificent lounge area complete with kitchen, and extensive recreational and relaxation areas. Recreational facilities available to delegates include an Aquatic Centre featuring a heated 25 metre swimming pool and separate diving pool with 3 meter tower.

Accommodation will be provided on site at the schools modern and well-equipped boarding house. Conference meals, including lunch morning and afternoon tea as well as the conference dinner, will be catered for by Toorak Caterers, Mt Eliza.

Mount Eliza, framed on one side by Port Phillip Bay, is the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula. There are a number of sandy bay beaches between Mount Eliza and Mornington which include Daveys Bay, Canadian and Half Moon bays, Ranelagh and Sunnyside beaches. The township itself offers extremely sophisticated shopping and delightful outdoor cafes, galleries and garden centres worth investigating.
