Stars of science – outstanding first-year students
The Faculty of Science wishes to acknowledge and congratulate the wonderful achievement of those who have been identified as outstanding students enrolling in Monash Science degrees since 2004. These first-year Monash Science students were chosen because they achieved an Equivalent National Tertiary Entrance Rank (ENTER) of 95 and above in their Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE).
We are very proud of our high-achieving students! They are talented, motivated and hard working but they also require the support of parents, the dedication of teachers and the support of an excellent school. So we would also like to congratulate parents, teachers and schools for supporting and nurturing such exceptional young men and women.
Our high-achieving students are doing a variety of science courses, namely, the Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science Advanced with Honours, the Science Scholar Program, Bachelor of Environmental Science, and a range of double degrees including, Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Biomedical Science/Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Computer Science and Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Laws.
We expect that students such as these will make up the high profile researchers, scientific leaders and scientific managers of the future! So look forward to hearing more about them in the years to come!
