2006 Dean’s List

• Top science students recognized

Hugh Evans - outstanding achievement

• Hugh Evans a double degree student in Science/Law has received two major awards for his outstanding humanitarian and volunteer leadership:
  Young Australian of the Year 2004
  and also:
  Young Outstanding Young Person of the World 2004

Lucas Bluff – Rhodes Scholar

• Due to his outstanding achievements in his study of evolutionary ecology Lucas Bluff travelled to Oxford University as:
  Victorian Rhodes Scholar for 2004

Kellie Felmingham and Lisa Barnard

• These two students who studied biological science and psychology in their Bachelor of Science degrees, have been awarded teaching scholarships:
  Invergowrie Foundation/McPherson Family Education Scholarships for Women.

Brenton Richard and Lauren Hewitt

• Both elite athletes have been able to study toward Monash Science degrees and train at the same time:
  Commonwealth games
  Elite Athlete Support Program

Eve Gu

• Awarded a scholarship for a exceptional VCE score:
  Monash University Scholarships for Excellence
