Internal Course Transfer
1. Eligibility
Students are eligible to apply for a course transfer if they have met the course prerequisite requirements either in VCE or equivalent or if they completed the relevant units at Monash and achieved the required average.

2. The application process
Semester one intake:
- Applications normally open in September.
- For the closing date for applications please refer to the application closing dates website.
- Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application after the semester two result release date.
- Students must re-enrol into their current course as notification of the outcome of application will not be available until after the re-enrolment closing date.
- Enrolment for successful applicants will take place in December.
Semester two intake:
- Applications normally open in April.
- For the closing date for applications please refer to the application closing dates website.
- Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application as soon as possible after the semester one results release date and will be required to enrol immediately.
3. What to submit and where
- Before submitting your application it is recommended that you consult with the Faculty of Science Student Services staff regarding the pre-requisites of the course you are applying for, credit transfer and course requirements.
- Students are required to complete an Application for Course Transfer available on the Student Services Forms Page.
- Applications must be lodged by the closing date at the campus/faculty Student Services Office where the course you are applying for is offered.
- Applications received after the closing date may not be accepted.
