Honours information |
How to apply for science honoursHonours applicants are required to complete an application form for honours and lodge the application with the Faculty of Science. You must complete the application form (pdf, 94kb) in consultation with the Honours coordinator or nominated representative of the relevant School/Department in which you wish study and that person must sign your application before being submitted to the faculty. You may be required to complete an application form with the relevant school as well. Applications should be made directly to the Faculty of Science office of the campus where you are planning to complete your Honours program by the advertised closing date. If you are an external domestic student (non Monash) you must provide the Faculty of Science with a certified copy of your academic record and a statement from your “home” university confirming you have qualified for a Bachelor of Science degree or a comparable qualification. You also must provide the Faculty with proof of Australian citizenship or permanent residency. You should contact the Honours coordinator and potential supervisor in your chosen area of study before submitting an application. All external international students (non Monash) must apply directly to International Admissions by completing the application form available on their website. Before applying you must contact the Honours coordinator and/or supervisor in the area in which you wish to study. The Faculty of Science makes offers for admission. Staff in schools / departments are not authorised to offer any applicant a place in the science honours program. Mid year honoursHonours commencing in July will only be offered at the discretion of the Faculty of Science depending on availability of places. Requirements, eligibility and the application process is the same as for the commencement at the start of the academic year. Further information |
