IntermissionIf you are a currently enrolled student and wish to take a period of leave from your undergraduate course, you may apply for intermission. Intermission can be granted for one or two standard semester with up to two consecutive semesters at a time and a maximum of two years in total for students enrolled in a course managed by the Faculty of Science. You can apply for intermission via WES. To limit any academic and financial penalties you will need to apply for intermission by the census date of each relevant semester. You can apply for intermission after the census date but then academic and financial penalties may apply. You will need to apply by completing an Intermission Application form and submitting to the faculty of Science Student services office in building 19. Please note that the last date to apply for intermission is the non-fail date of the relevant semester. After this date applications for intermission cannot be accepted.
