The Water Studies Centre is committed to getting its research findings used by management agencies for the improved management of Australia’s natural resources. 

We have established strong links in Victoria with the Departments of Natural Resources & Environment and Primary Industries, several water authorities (notably Melbourne Water and Goulburn-Murray Water) and the EPA. We also have links with Federal and interstate resource management agencies which were developed or strengthened through the CRC for Freshwater Ecology.

Mechanisms used to achieve better exchange of our knowledge include:
